Scott and Deena Hardin

How did you meet?

We met when Dr. Mike Daniel (for whom I was working) had a summer gifted and talented workshop for high school students in the area in 1985. Scott was hired as one of the teachers for the workshop. That’s how we met. But we had both graduated from SAU earlier–Scott in 1976 and I in 1983.

What activities did the campus offer couples

Mostly dances and sometimes concerts in the spring. Not a lot back then.

What did the two of you do for fun/dates?

We had both graduated, so…

How many years have you been together?

Are there any special memories of you two on campus?

I played in the South Arkansas Symphony at the time so have some good memories of the concerts in Harton Theatre.
