Orlando and Veda Ojeda

How did you meet?

We met in band–his sense of humor was what first got my attention. We had mutual friends, also; we spent a lot of time in social settings as friends before things got serious.

What activities did the campus offer couples?

I don’t recall any, but I know there must have been some Valentine’s Day events.

What did the two of you do for fun/dates?

We watched many movies, went for walks around the school. We were also active Greeks and participated with their events– many dates revolved around that schedule!

How many years have you been together?

16 years.

Are there any special memories of you two on campus?

The walk back to my dorm was always special- sometimes we’d walk very slowly and sometimes we’d run (skunks!)- but it was a great way for us to end our days.
