Board of Directors Information
- The SAUAA Board of Directors is made up of 24 voting directors and 5 ex officio members.
- Staffed by the SAU Office of Alumni Relations.
- Board of Directors are selected per the Membership Selection Policy by the Membership Committee each spring.
- New directors are selected based on current needs of the SAUAA Board, determined by the membership matrix (in an effort to best reflect our alumni base).
- Enhanced (Blue, Gold, and Forever Mulerider) members of the SAU Alumni Association can make nominations for the board.
- The number of new directors invited to serve changes from year to year.
- Nominees considered must be an alumni or former student (two long semesters). Nominees should not be considered if a University employee or spouse/partner of a University employee.
Nominations are open March 1 – 31 of each year.
