The SAU Alumni Association is dues-free. Our all-inclusive membership model provides free membership for all SAU graduates, with tiered recognition levels available for Mulerider alumni and friends.

How do I become an enhanced member?

To become an enhanced member and receive additional benefits, make a charitable donation through the SAU Foundation. Click the button below to make your gift today. You can make a donation to any area you are passionate about.

Memberships are effective January 1 through December 31 and are determined by the previous calendar year’s giving (or lifetime giving for Forever Muleriders).

Membership levels are updated annually in January.

Alumni who annually contribute a minimum of $600 to any area through the SAU Foundation.

Forever Mulerider Membership

Alumni and Friends who have contributed a minimum of $10,000 in a lifetime through the SAU Foundation. Includes “Lifetime Members” of the previous structure.

Affiliate Membership

Friends and parents of current/former students who contribute a minimum of $100 to any area(s) of the University. Affiliate Members receive all benefits included in the appropriate membership levels above, except the ability to nominate.

How Membership Works

Dues-Free Membership

All SAU graduates and former students receive free membership automatically — no dues required.

Annual Membership Period

About Affiliate Membership

Affiliate Members receive all benefits included in the appropriate membership levels above — with one exception: Affiliate Members are not eligible to nominate for alumni awards or the SAU Alumni Association Board.

Affiliate Membership is open to friends and parents of current or former SAU students who are not themselves graduates or former students.
